Integrated invoicing and online payment acceptance are now available as free features
of Jack Henry’s Banno™ digital banking platform.
Support small businesses with the tools they need — and the right solution options for you.
Help small businesses get paid and manage their business directly from your digital banking channels

INVOICING PLUGIN
Give your SMB clients the ability to easily send professional invoices
Small business customers can send their customers a professional online invoice or estimate right from their online and mobile banking. Invoices are paid online via card or ACH.

ACCEPT A PAYMENT PLUGIN
Offer SMBs and nonprofits a way to accept online or in-app payments.
Businesses and nonprofits are provided with a unique link to their own secure payment form — which can then be shared with paying customers. Links can be sent via text or email, or even pasted into a web page.

ACCOUNTING UPGRADE
Provide SMBs an accounting solution built for them, not an accountant
Business owners can upgrade their payment acceptance experience to include accounting and financial reporting. Help businesses eliminate tedious bookkeeping entries, and better manage their cash flow directly from your digital banking channels.
Choose from two solution options
Empower your small business customers with the digital tools, insights, and services built for growth.

How to Launch the Banno Plugins
Follow these four steps to go live with the plugins and offer integrated invoicing and online payment acceptance to your customers. This process typically takes financial institutions 40-60 days.
Build Your Project Plan
Before you get started, we know you need to gather all the information so you — and key leaders at your financial institution — understand the project.
The first step is to book a roadmapping session. At this kickoff meeting, the team will walk you through the technology, show you the benefits, and build your timeline with check-ins for the following steps.
In the meantime, check out some of our helpful documents:
Configure & Test
Next up on your roadmap will be to configure and start testing the plugins. Good news! Jack Henry Digital already embedded the technology as a core feature in Banno.
What does that mean?
Your implementation is automated, so enabling the plugins is simple for your financial institution. Together, we'll follow the instructions on the Testing Guide.
Train Your Team
To ensure your financial institution is prepared to help service and support the growing needs of small businesses and non-profits, we offer pre-built training resources: webinars, reference materials, go-to-market collateral, and more.
Where to start?
We offer two training webinar series: "The Basics" and "Driving Enrollments." Start with "The Basics," a 45-minute training that is applicable to all employees at your financial institution.
Launch
It's time to launch, and we'll be there to walk you through enabling the plugins globally to your customers.
What's next?
After you're live, marketing to your small business customers is key to driving feature awareness, engagement, and activation. That's why we created proven marketing collateral for your use: marketing emails, ads, videos, and more.
This guide highlights best practices and outlines how your financial institution can easily use the library of free assets.

We know we can't do everything that a big technology player can do, but with some ingenuity and a good partnership with a company like Autobooks, we feel that we can compete. With Autobooks, we can offer payment acceptance right alongside our bank accounts — and knowing that we're going to be able fight this battle on the payment front, and that we're going to keep that checking account and that relationship, that means a lot. What I love is once customers sign up for Autobooks, their reliance on other payment systems just goes away. -

It definitely gave us an edge, and we're always looking for those fintech partners that can play well with the providers that we already have. -

Well, to be honest, the thing that really got me was the low processing rates, because initially when I first started my business or when I took over the business, I used a credit card processor out of Florida. I would get a statement from them every month with all these fees, which I couldn't even tell you what they were for. And so I'm saving a lot of money and processing fees by using Autobooks. -

Having a relationship with a company like Autobooks is what really changes the ecosystem, and it makes it better for everybody involved. Autobooks is far and away a leader in not only the small business space, but also a model in how to work with others. They know how to deal with the large institutions, the small institutions, the core companies — most of the fintechs out there ought to take page out of their book. That’s if they want to learn how to best work with a company like Jack Henry.
