Small business owners are not asking for another checking account. They need to get paid, keep their books straight and manage the timing of receivables. Those tools now come with the account instead of being something they seek from a third-party provider.

- A widget for invoicing and getting paid can sit right inside {{provider}}, and we're working toward deeper integration with {{provider}}.
- The experience carries your {{fi_type}}'s name and branding, and you choose which capabilities to enable.

Start where your strategy is today
Every path starts with your Autobooks Pro license. Business bill pay can be deployed three ways.
Upgrade bill pay
Swap your current program one-for-one. Every business that pays bills with you today gets the upgraded experience.
Best for: moving every bill pay customer at once.
Define a segment
Offer the Autobooks suite, including business bill pay, to a defined segment of businesses before a complete upgrade.
Best for: offering Autobooks Pro alongside your existing bill pay.
Do both
Replace your current program and offer the Autobooks suite.
Best for: the complete bill pay and business banking upgrade.
Two ways to offer the accounting suite
Your {{fi_type}} chooses one of these for business {{audience}}.
Build a business account around the suite
Your {{fi_type}} buys a bundle of Autobooks users and includes them in a business checking account, priced the way you choose. A $25 to $35 monthly business account is a suggested starting point.
Let business owners upgrade inside digital banking
Business owners upgrade on their own for $9.99 a month, and Autobooks shares the revenue with your {{fi_type}}. Promote it at the moment of need, and name the menu item for what it does. "Manage My Business" works better than a product name.
Launching on {{provider}}: four steps

Integration and digital banking
How does Autobooks appear inside our {{provider}} digital banking?
Business {{audience}} open Autobooks from a menu item in {{provider}} digital banking through single sign-on. No new app and no new login. A widget for invoicing and getting paid can also sit inside {{provider}}, and we're open to deeper integration with {{provider}}.
Will it carry {{fi_short}}'s name and branding, and can we choose which capabilities show?
Yes. The experience carries your {{fi_type}}'s name and branding, and you choose which capabilities to enable. The menu shows only those.
Does Autobooks need a connection to our core?
Not a separate one for the app. Autobooks connects to your core through {{provider}}, and only for business {{audience}} who accept the Autobooks terms and conditions. For the Hub, we'll consider a direct core connection if your {{fi_type}} is interested.
Can businesses get their data into QuickBooks?
Yes, by CSV export. Business owners export their data as a CSV file, which QuickBooks imports.
How is the Hub different from the reporting we already run?
Digital banking reports on the account, and the core knows money moved. The Hub reports on the business: what it billed, what it collected, what it owes, and whether it's ready for capital. Bankers get portfolio visibility, business profiles, a Signal Feed, balance sheet and profit and loss access, and SFTP file share. The Hub is included with every Autobooks deployment.
Payments and merchant services
Who processes payments, and who carries the risk?
Autobooks is a payment facilitator. Autobooks underwrites each business, carries the risk, originates the ACH, and processes card payments through Worldpay. Your {{fi_type}} shares in the revenue.
Who handles PCI compliance?
Autobooks is PCI compliant and owns PCI compliance for payments processed through Autobooks.
How does this fit with our merchant services program?
Not every business operates in a traditional retail environment. Many need to accept payments by invoice, by a link shared by text, or on the move. Autobooks lets you serve the businesses that aren't a fit for traditional merchant services, while those payments deposit into accounts at your {{fi_type}}.
How do settlement and reconciliation work?
Payments settle to the business's account at your {{fi_type}}. When accounting is enabled, every payment is categorized and recorded automatically.
Business bill pay and servicing
Do we have to replace our current bill pay?
No. You can upgrade your current program one-for-one, offer the Autobooks suite to a defined segment of businesses first, or do both. Every path starts with your Autobooks Pro license.
How does business bill pay earn revenue for us?
Every payment made with a debit or credit card your {{fi_type}} issues earns interchange. Because the suite also helps businesses get paid and access lending, you can earn from merchant activity and small business lending too.
Can business owners pay a vendor that doesn't accept cards?
Yes. Pay by card works on any bill, including vendors that don't accept cards directly. Owners can use a card your {{fi_type}} issues or a credit card from another provider, and you see each payment line by line.
Can businesses require approvals before payments go out?
Yes. Owners review and approve payments before anything goes out, and dual approvals add a second sign-off. Payments are monitored for fraud as they move.
Can our team service bill pay, for example stopping a check?
Your team works from the bill pay back office. The best way to see the servicing tools is a short demo.
Who supports business owners?
Autobooks does. When a business enrolls, it gets emails introducing Autobooks as your partner, and the app points it to Autobooks for service and payment questions. Business owners reach us by phone, message, or chat. Your front line only needs a simple handoff. Your program team reaches us at FISuccess@autobooks.co.
AI Agents, data, and security
What are AI Agents, and what can they reach?
AI Agents let a business owner connect Autobooks to the AI assistant they already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and manage invoicing and payments by chatting in their own words. They can send an invoice, check whether a customer has paid, and see which invoices are past due.
- No money movement, no account numbers, and no access to online banking.
- Your {{fi_type}} can choose not to offer it.
Autobooks supports MCP integration, so it can fit the AI policy you're defining.
What can a business's own software reach through developer tools?
Invoicing data only: invoices, customers, and products. Nothing reaches bank accounts, balances, transfers, or online banking credentials. Only the business's primary administrator can create or remove keys, and webhooks only send messages out.
Do you have a SOC 2 report?
Yes. We share our SOC 2 report under NDA.
Launch
How long does launch take, and what's involved?
Most integrations go live in weeks. Launch follows four steps: prepare to go live, configure and test, announce your launch, and manage your program. Your {{provider}} representative sets up access and data sharing, and Autobooks provides the testing guide, training, and launch campaign.
